Shipping update

Hello cursed!

Shipping is 99% complete! There are still a couple holds on shipments to countries that have suspended courier services, as mentioned in our last update. Those will be sent out by SpiralGalaxy as soon as they are able to do so. Spiral Galaxy is also sending out the last of retail orders to UK and EU retailers.

Shipping Update. Almost there!

Hello cursed!

Thanks for your patience with the shipping process. We understand people are anxious to get their games, and we are moving things along as quickly as we can with our fulfillment centers.

USA 

Games have started shipping! Please keep in mind that there are about 1400 backers in the US alone for this campaign. If you do not see your tracking number right away, please be patient. We will let you know when to start worrying! For those who didn't catch the rundown of why US shipping has been delayed, here is a recap...

Greater than Games was originally not going to be able to operate while COVID shut downs were in effect. Since there was going to be a delay, we gave backers till April 15th to update their addresses. There was a change in the GTG policy, which allowed them to come in over the weekend and package games. (Hence the shipping labels that were received in April) We asked them to hold off on shipping anything till the 15th so we could still allow backers to update addresses if needed. On the 16th we sent over the updated information to GTG, where they then updated labels and finished packaging about 1/3 of the games. When we did not see a movement in the games, we messaged GTG. This process, already slowed down by the skeleton crew working, was slowed down just a bit more when a worker was unable to come in for a couple days and assured us things should be going out the following week. When this did not appear to be the case, we messaged them again and they stated that FedEx would be picking up the games mid week, last week. Which they did. People have started seeing movement in their tracking numbers, and we are waiting to hear back from GTG for an ETA on the remaining packages.

AUSTRALIA

Shipping is nearly complete. Our fulfillment center was not sent enough inventory, and this is being sent over to them. Once they receive it, they will fulfill the remaining orders. 

CANADA

Shipping is complete! If you have not received your game or have had any issues, please send us an email at [email protected].

UK/EU/ASIA/ROW

Shipping is 99% complete! There are a couple countries that we cannot currently ship to due to COVID restrictions. Once these restrictions are lifted, shipments will finish sending out. This affects India, Peru, Philippines, South Africa & Thailand. If you have issues outside of this, please send us an email at [email protected].

In the chaos that is the world right now, our amazing fulfillment partners are committed to getting you games while remaining as safe as possible. Here is a quick update if you haven't received your copy of Life Siphon yet.

  • US / CA / UK / Rest Of World shipments should be wrapping up within the next two weeks. 
  • AUS shipments are delayed due to decreased staff. We will give an update when we have one.

CANADA NOTE: There was an error by the distribution center where some backers did not get their sleeves/mats. Those items are being sent separately shortly.

Current Fulfillment Status

Hello cursed,

First off, thank you all for your patience during this very odd and unique period. We have reached out to each fulfillment center to get a status update.

  •  US (GreaterThanGames): GTG informed us yesterday that St. Louis is issuing a stay-at-home order and their warehouse is going to be temporarily shut down till late April. With this extra time, US backers can update their address until April 15. See instructions below. 
  •  UK/EU (Spiral Galaxy): Operating with a skeleton crew, but are pushing to get fulfillment done now. Everything should be in motion here, just at a slower pace than normally expected. Couriers across the EU are a different story, and so please keep up to date on how your local post services are operating.
  •  CANADA (D6): Operating with a skeleton crew, but pushing to get fulfillment done now. We haven't heard anything about more delays, other than they are just operating at a slower pace with the smaller crew.
  •  AUSTRALIA (VR): Also operating on a skeleton crew, with a very slow response time. Getting responses from our rep at the rate at about 1 email per week. Expect delays here, but until they are able to respond to our emails, we don't have an accurate timeline.

The health and safety of our partners is by far our first priority. We are not pushing them in any way to get games out faster. They will ship when they are comfortable and ready.

Fulfillment Update

Hello cursed,

As you likely guessed, fulfillment is in a bit of a limbo state right now. All locations have Life Siphon, were processing items, and fulfillment was set to begin, but now with work closures due to COVID-19, we are not sure of the current status.

Lay Waste Games newly titled Operations and Community Manager and CoOwner Alyssa is reaching out to all fulfillment centers for a status update. We are not pressuring anyone to send out games as safety is our top concern right now.
